Whether to remember the home you grew up in, give a gift to your parents as they move from the family home, or remember a special shared place in a way that a photo can’t convey, a painting can create an atmosphere and a gift that is completely unique.
A gallery of commissions
Below is a variety of homes I’ve been commissioned to paint, both by individuals and by realtors. Because homes are private property I don’t share a home painting on any of my websites or social media unless those involved give permission, so not all my home paintings are here.
Private commissions
These homes and places were commissioned by individuals to give as gifts and vary in size, shape and media.
Realtor commissions
These homes were commissioned by realtors to give to their clients at their home’s sale. All are watercolors and range in size from 5″ x 7″ and 8″ x 10″—personally, I find 6″ x 8″ to be a better option than 5″ x 7″ just for the extra area to see details but it still fits in an 8″ x 10″ frame. An 8″ x 10″ painting fits in an 11″ x 14″ frame. All come with a white mat packaged in a clear resealable sleeve, ready to be framed into a standard frame size.
