Cabochon Pendant, Ready for Play

This pendant sold fast and I don’t have another on hand. I will look for this frame and cabochon and make another.

An overabundance of kittens isn’t really a thing to celebrate, but kittens are cute nonetheless.

This small pendant is made with a print of my pencil sketch “Ready for Play”, inside an oval antique silver metal frame and a 1″ x 1.5″ curved glass cabochon cover. It comes with a 16″ antique silver chain.

The sketch was modeled after a photo of Moses when she was still a tiny cat. She was a feral kitten, though I didn’t know that at the time, and photos of her were hard to get. The original was actually blurry because she started to turn and run, but I loved that momentary playfulness, the bright eyes, the big ears, and filled in the details when I sketched her in pencil.
