Nothing is so clarifying as brilliant early morning sun, and nothing chases away the chill of a winter morning. Here, Namir was lulled to sleep by the natural warmth and comfort. While the main body of this work is lit by direct sunlight at that beautiful, long angle, the rest of the work is lit […]
Some of my cats have inspired several paintings, others in the planning stages, others, no paintings yet, sometimes it’s all up to how much time I have to work. But some of my cats have inspired more paintings than others, and Namir was one of them. Something about his demeanor and deportment, his confident self-possession, […]
This magnet is made with a print of my sketch “Warm Winter Sun”, heat set on a 1″ round polymer clay base, and an extra strong disc magnet glued on the back. I roll and cut the shape from polymer clay, then bake it. I heat set a high-quality print of my artwork and add […]
Namir is in that blissful feline “don’t bother me while I’m in my sun puddle” state, which is exactly what I wanted to capture. This painting is in oil pastel, and painted in 2000, my first successful oil pastel painting. One thing that marks this painting as being a part of my personal portfolio is […]
This is an oil pastel painting, “Warm Winter Sun”, 10″ x 7″, framed in a dull gold frame with ecru, cream and bronze mats. Prints on paper and canvas are also available. About the painting, and Namir Some of my cats have inspired several paintings, others in the planning stages, others, no paintings yet, sometimes […]
“Warm Winter Sun” Feline Fine Art Card is 5″ x 7″ , printed on 14 pt. card stock and includes a matching envelope. I find people use these cards for all sorts of greetings, from invitations to parties to friendly hellos and thinking of yous to sympathy at the loss of a pet or even […]
I’d always wanted to paint this photo of my orange boy, Allegro. I took the photo in 1993 or 1994 and painted it in 2017, and it was on my mind all that time. I wanted not so much to paint a portrait of Allegro as I wanted to capture that moment that was so […]

Bernadette Kazmarski is my absolute favorite artist, I have one of her pieces on nearly every wall in my home. One of the things I admire most about her work is her feline art. Bernadette is able to capture cats in a very emotional and authentic way. The light and expressions on her feline subjects are so delightful. No animal has captivated us (and the Internet) quite like the house cat. Bernadette's pieces perfectly replicate the joys our feline friends bring to us.
Tara Czekaj
Friends and I chipped in together and hired Bernadette to create a memorial of a friend’s beloved cat after kitty passed away. The memorial was beautiful! We highly recommend Bernadette’s work.

Bernadette Kazmarski is a friend and talented artist who's an avid cat lover just like us! She has created original cat artwork using a variety of mediums, and has transformed her artwork into such useful giftware items as notepads, garden flags, calendars, greeting cards table decor and votives (one of my personal favorites). She's also an award winning writer. Bernadette is a dedicated cat rescue volunteer and remains active in savings cats' lives.
Carolyn Kozlowski, My Three Cats & Co., Inc.
I love Bernadette's creativity and style. In addition, when I purchase from her, it is from a wonderful, caring person, not a faceless corporation.
