I imprint the Bella! design using flocked heat transfer vinyl onto both a cotton canvas messenger or tote bag style, and embellished with buttons sewn on by hand.
Messenger bag style is 10โ x 12โ x 4โ with an adjustable strap and a flap closing over the front of the bag. Extra large heavy canvas tote is 14″ x 17″ x 4″ with a wide strap with a pocket on the front.
Bella! Tote Bag with the black kitty silhouette and lime green button eyes
O.M.Geeeee! It’s Bella! On a bag with green button eyes just like her big round eyes! Bella, in silhouette, is imprinted at the bottom of a bag and with just big blue-green eyes that are two-hole buttons sewn on with black thread.

And you can pet her fuzzy fur too! I’m not kidding. When I experimented with heat transfer vinyl last year I discovered flocked HTV which, like any flocked fabric or other material, has a velour-type surface.
If you had any doubt that the real Bellaโs eyes were as big and round and pale green as buttons, she is here to prove to you that yes, they really are.
She was the inspiration for this design, and when I created this design I got as close to the real thing as I possibly could. Itโs based on one of my daily sketches, from September 2014, shortly after Bella arrived here as a foster.
