My early spring garden is full of potential, but not much color. So as things sprout and grow but aren’t blooming yet, I love to look out and see my garden flags. I chose four pieces of artwork rich with color and detail and added a message to each one that celebrates your garden.
About the flags
Each garden flag is handmade. My garden flags are 11″ x 15″ with a pocket folded over and stitched at the top They are printed on only one side, but you can see the design really well from the back anytime during daylight.
They are printed on cotton twill with a light fabric transfer. The professional-quality transfer is intended for light fabric so covers the fabric without the feeling of vinyl and holds the art well.
Usually I take my garden flags in for winter, but this past year I left them out there to see how well they did in the wild rains and sleets and ice storms and heavy snows. They’ve lasted in my garden, even through some awful winters and bright sun reflected off the street in summer, for two years so far.
I typically stock all garden flags shown there though I only print smaller quantities, usually no more than six at a time. If you’d like a quantity of flags, or a custom flag, please send me an email.
