I etched the inside of the jar to better diffuse the light from the candle, then printed the design on a purchased clear vinyl label and burnished it onto the vase. The curved glass areas are painted with forest green permanent alcohol ink. The art can be clearly seen on the matte finish label even when the votive isn’t lit.
It’s made from a repurposed pickle jar 6″ tall x 5″ wide and comes with an LED tea light, but that’s big enough for a shorter or smaller LED pillar candle to use as a little accent lamp.
