I imprinted the design “Market Flowers” onto reclaimed cotton fabric using a fabric transfer and made the 5″ x 7″ bag, adding a zipper.
I created my own “fabric” swatch by printing the pattern on fabric using a commercial quality fabric transfer and my heat press to ensure even coverage. The transfer gives the fabric a little stiffness that works well for these little bags.
I use reclaimed fabrics from cotton, linen and other non-synthetic fabrics like tablecloths, draperies, bedspreads, even clothing, so fabrics vary. I use various color zippers for this design.
