Upcoming Events: Fall Festival, Farmers Market, and Open House

October Open House

Carnegie Fall Festival

Saturday, September 25, 2021, 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

A community festival on Main Street, and I’ll be set up with the usual wares plus some special photos and prints of paintings of Carnegie.

Last Carnegie Farmers Market of the Season

Sunday, September 26, 2021, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Because the Steelers will be playing on Sundays at 1:00 and all life needs to stop, we are starting an hour early, at 11:00 a.m. We have the option of leaving at 2:00 p.m. or staying until 3:00 p.m., and the last Sunday I was there I stayed until 3:00.

October Open House

Friday, October 8 to Sunday, October 10, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This will be my first round of all the merchandise for general shopping and early holiday gift shopping, including greeting cards and commissioned artwork certificates.

Above is my tent in the back yard from my July open house with the originals and prints sale. I’m including this tent and artwork in my upcoming open house, and also my regular festival tent with my “Last Autumn” photo exhibit. A portion of it will also include favorite photos from all seasons and genre. And as before I will also have displays on my front porch—garden flags, general greeting and note cards—and deck—the holiday shop—as well as in the house. Don’t worry if you’re nowhere near. I will have parts of the displays online for you to browse too.

I may expand my open house days to Monday. If you’ve been following me, you know the process—sign up for my enewsletter in order to get:

I began using my larger tent in August, and added more to my display. I’ll be adding more yet for the Fall Fest and the last Farmers Market. As I mentioned above, this time I’ll have a special display of photos and art of Carnegie.

I was thrilled to hear a few people, including some young teenagers, tell me they were glad they had “found the cat booth”! One other person has specific dog items and another has custom made pet foods but most of what’s on display is dog treats, so I guess I’m the cat representative.

Lots of autumn garden flags!

And here are a few more photos. I’ll be listing new products soon and also taking them to the Farmers Market.

I’ve been keeping a display of greeting cards, including Halloween and Holiday cards.

Some designs of the tote bags are popular too, and they’re kind of hard to keep up with. I also have all the rest of my canvas prints on sale for $25 per print.
