I’ve always wanted to see my lady leopard, “Yes?”, on a jute burlap bag. This line of shaped jute bags are more like purses than totes and very versatile. This vinyl-lined medium tote has sturdy handles and is a great accessory as a purse, and it’s also strong enough to be a year-round permanent reusable shopping bag.
The bag is 12″ x 12″ x 7″, lined with thin clear vinyl and holds its shape well, as you can see in the photo, imprinted on the front. Handles are sturdy plastic coated cord covered with jute.
ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This linoleum block print captures a leopard I saw at the zoo, turning around with quite the question on her face. I so loved the spots that showed up so clearly in my photos so I decided to just print the spots. The art size is 12″W x 10″H.
Block printing is a technique wherein the artist carves the surface of a piece of linoleum, leaving raised areas which will become the image. Ink is rolled onto these raised areas, then a piece of paper is pressed against the block and when it’s lifted away the ink remains, leaving the image on the paper.
I also offer this print without color, as a print alone, and matted and framed in my Wildlife Linoleum Blocks Print gallery, as well as on t-shirts and sweat shirts.
